I won a couple of writing contests when I was young, which was just enough accolade to push me into writing studies in college. I earned my associate’s degree at Dixie College and have always been glad to have remained a part of this campus. I was fortunate to study under some of the brightest people in our field. Now I am fortunate to work here at Utah Tech University among amazing colleagues and students. A life in the pursuit of ideas–filled with reading, writing, and researching among other diligent thinkers–has been a good life, indeed. My interests include usability studies, UX, power structures and justice, socioeconomic precarity, and rhetorical criticism.
