I graduated from Morningside High School in Inglewood, California, and then obtained a bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University and a master’s degree at California State University-Los Angeles. Before teaching at Utah Tech University, I taught various composition and literature courses at El Camino College in Torrance, California, and worked in the corporate legal departments at Mattel Toys and Warner Bros. Movie Studio—both in the Los Angeles area. At Utah Tech University, I have taught English 0990, English 1000; currently I specialize in teaching English 1010D.
