Respect and Inclusivity Statement By completing the application, I affirm that I agree to the following statement: Alpha Pi Epilon Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta is committed to an inclu INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS Must be majoring or minoring (or the equivalent) or completing an Integrated Studies Emphasis in the discipline of English. Must have a mnimum of two college courses in English language or literature beyond Eng 2010. Must have a B+ or equivalent average (3.3) in English. Must rank in the highest 35% of his/her class in general scholarship (a B average/3. is OK). Must have completed at least three semesters or five quarters of college course work. Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student. Don’t meet all requirements? Join as an associate member! Associate members can attend all club activities and service initiatives while you are working towards full Sigma Tau Delta Membership. Fill out the application as normal, but make sure to re-apply when you are eligible. CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS Must attend at least two activities (not including TED Talks) per semester (we usually have nine or ten total) Must attend two TED Talks per semester—unless you have a class that conflicts or other non-negotiable scheduling conflicts (these should be addressed with Dr. Comeford specifically) Must sign up and participate in the poetry pharmacy initiative and the little free library service project (Approx. 4 hours of service) Must participate in one fundraising activity Failure to meet these participation requirements will result in not being allowed to wear the regalia at graduation. DUES AND OPPORTUNITIES Upon admittance into Sigma Tau Delta, you will receive notification of acceptance and will then be asked to pay a one-time fee of $45 for your international dues and a yearly $10 fee for local chapter dues.
